Quick Facts

12 Quick Facts about Lisa:

-I’m a pianist, singer, and songwriter.
-I also love playing harmonica and ukulele, and I’m trying to learn how to play guitar better.
-I have a self-released EP out in over 20 digital and mobile stores.
-I go to Berklee College of Music in Boston on the Songwriting Scholarship (Music Business/Management major and Psychology minor), and it’s an absolute dream come true.
-Another dream come true was the first time I played The Bitter End in NYC.
-I’m super passionate about working with charities and non-profits for music education, and I teach piano lessons for the same reason.
-I’m also very passionate about food, almost as much as I am about music.
-As the Editor-in-Chief of The Berklee Groove, I get to interview legendary artists and bands, and I get paid to go to concerts… It’s a LOT of work to handle simultaneously with nine classes, but I can’t think of a more rewarding or exciting job for a musician in college.
-I’m also in six clubs at Berklee, I go to every single concert, seminar, and clinic I can fit into my schedule, and somehow I still manage to squeeze in a social life on the weekends. (Time management is key!)
-My favorite books to read have to do with business, marketing, the music industry, songwriting, and psychology.
-I used to be in a metal band. I got yelled at for smiling too much during performances.
-I love laughing! My friends tell me I’m the happiest person they know.
